Executive Vice President, Sales - Americas
Guillermo “Billy” Brooks is Executive Vice President, Sales – Americas. With nearly three decades of experience in the energy sector, Billy has held a number of leadership roles at large commercial organizations with a focus on advancing commercial growth, implementing new market entry strategies, and successfully positioning new products and solutions.
Prior to joining Bloom Energy, Billy served as Executive Director of Business Development at NextEra Energy, Inc., a provider of clean energy solutions and services, where he oversaw the development of utility scale solar generation assets. Billy has also held a variety of general management and leadership roles at General Electric in the United States and abroad, including CEO of Latin America, Head of Global Sales, and Chief Commercial Officer. A native of Houston, Billy graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University.
